"I'm not going to ask stupid questions right now, but if you're Jeff, can you blink twice for me? Please?" Without stopping the petting, of course, because even if this isn't Jeff, he's already half in love with this little cutie.

[cacophonish]

Blink. Blink. Jeffness confirmed. He curls up even closer to Bash. "You're like... a giant..." Which, okay, he's used to everyone suddenly being huge when he turns into a lil guy, but it's different when it's Bash! He makes another contented possum sound. "Giant boyfriend..."

"And you're smol. Tiny boyfriend!" Bash shifts against the bed, sitting up and pulling possum-Jeff into his lap so he can scratch behind his ears in slow, gentle, circular motions. "How long has this been going on, and why didn't you tell me?"

[cacophonish]

Oh, that feels good. That feels like the best feeling he could ever feel. Jeff is so into the ear scratching.

"Not long, like, a couple weeks? I didn't tell anyone, 'cause..." Hmm. Can you see this tiny possum face thinking? Why didn't he tell anyone? "I guess I just liked not being me sometimes, you know? Just... being an anonymous possum."

[midnightroads]

"Oh. Are you upset that I know now? Should I pretend you're just some possum guy?"

The scratching doesn't stop for even a second as he asks this. Just some possum guy gets loved on too.

[cacophonish]

"No, I'm not-- I like that you know." He doesn't even have to think about it. It's never a bad thing, Bash knowing more about him. He rolls onto his back and stretches out, inviting belly scritches. "I didn't hurt you, by not telling you, right?"

"Naw, love. I totally get it." Belly scritches happen, as does a gentle little peck of a kiss to Jeff's muzzle. "Are you okay with me calling you cute when you're like this?"
