Sebastian St. Expedit was raised by a single mother in New Orleans, where he displayed a lackluster performance in school and didn't seem to have any prospects for himself, until his father returned to the picture. A god of death, he offered his son a chance to become a demigod, a psychopomp responsible for ferrying souls to the gates of the Underworld.

Bash agreed, because he thought it sounded more up his alley than getting a job or trying to go to college. That was five years ago.

Now an experienced psychopomp, Bash can be seen almost anywhere in the world, driving a pure black hearse and sampling the local coffee. He's become the Demigod of Midnight Roads, patron of taxi and truck drivers, 24 hour diner staff, wanderers and vagrants.
